Front Triangle Completed

Columbus BB shell and True Temper OX Platinum tubing along with some silver used at the lug and some brass at the fillets make this front triangle complete. Now I am on to the part which I enjoy the least about making bike frames from scratch......the rear triangle! It can be quite time consuming getting it square behind the front triangle. But hey, who am I fooling, I still love it because I am making bikes! I could be pushing paper for a living or cleaning up other people's messes. I can't complain.
Stay tuned for more pics, because I almost have the fork for Connor's city frame finished up and ready for the photo booth!

Justin's New Cyclo Cross Frame

Hooray for Justin! His new frame is fresh out of the painter and ready to build up. For a racer who is 6'3," previously riding a 54cm frame, this new custom 61cm stallion ought to provide some serious strength for the cyclocross season coming up.

The frame is constructed from Dedacciai tubing with the exception of the seat stays, which I used the long and slender Kaisei tubes. For some lug love, I used a Columbus bottom bracket lug and a Henry James seat tube/top tube lug. Both head tube junctions have the sweet and simple finish of a fillet braze.

For those post-ride brews, I used the ever-famous Paragon Single Speed Track Dropouts that come fully equipped with a bottle opener (you can check them on Paragon's site http://www.paragonmachineworks.com/storename/paragonmachineworks/dept/261329/ItemDetail-10465327.aspx).

Showing some love for a fabulous local business here in Portland, Oregon, this frame was painted by Del at Class Act, along with the talented and friendly LeeAnn. They will powdercoat anything, but they sure do a bang up job on bicycle frames. Check them out at www.classactpp.com.

I will post more pictures when Justin gets his new ride built up. Until then, I have Connor's ultra slick city bike frame in the works....so stay tuned!

WHOOOWHOOOOO!

Welcome to 2009! I am growing up as a framebuilder and thanks to the loving and beautiful people in my life......I have a website and photos---Thank you Cindy and Eric-----without your hard work and everlasting belief in me, I would be nothing.....I love you both!! After some long hours helping me out, we took a celebratory trip wine tasting and beer tasting in Woodinville, Washington!

To everyone else that may stumble across this page......feast your eyes on the beauty of this glorious website, and perhaps take a gander at the photo gallery and please check out my work!
